More Beach

What a wonderful trip we have had. We are so sad to see it come to an end. We are wrapping up our trip this evening. We will head home tomorrow in time for Bible School commencement. The kids are very excited about that, but I know when they realize that we are leaving the beach, they will be sad.

So here are som eof the pics I have captured. I tried to get an on-the-beach shoot of the kids yesterday, but they did not cooperate. I suppose it was too much to ask! That's okay, they had a great time and that is the most improtant thing. Most of the following shots are SOTC (staight out of the camera) I have not had much time to play around with them yet. I have been trying to play with the manual modes on my camera. I love it, but it is definentaly a challange to get good shots if you don't know what you are doing! I am so jelous of my BF Nikki Christian who is taking a photography class right now. I will be in July, but I wish I had it before comming down here!

This is the BEST we have of a good shot so far! I hope to try and get a better one before we leave. Trying to get everyone looking at the camera at the same time is the harderst part!
Here's a good picture of Brooke. She was such a big help to us. We hope that she had a good time as well! We Love You Brooke!

Me and Carys on the balcony.

Sawyer Burt hanging at the beach. I had a difficult time catching him becuase he was always on the move!

I did play around with this one on Picnik.

And I am sure that Ashton will hate this but I looks exactly like him. Smiling all the time. He came along to have some fun in the sun and Sawyer was sure glad he did!

For all of you out there that don't have kids, or have little bitty ones, beware that once they come along your beach experience changes! We have gone from pool to beach to pool to beach so many times I cannot keep count! You have to remember that it is now about them and them having fun! I would not trade a single minute of it!

I would like to thank Justin for giving me a Brooke a little girl time today. He watched the kids an fed them lunch so that we could have some uninterupted "sun" time. I am so happy with my tan. Oh, I should mention that you should not forget to put sunscreen on the backs of your legs! Espically the top part! I forgot and am really burned there. It makes it uncomfortable even to sit! Oh well, I guess it is a lesson learned!

Beach Bound...We made it!

This has to be one of the most anticipated trips of my life! This trip represents our first outing as a completely "whole"family! We are all together, all healthy, and all ready to be Beach Bums!

We were originally supposed to leave on Thursday, but we got wind that the condo would be available early so we could not resist the urge to leave early!

We had a wonderful trip down! We rode all four hours with out stopping (even to potty!) When we would ask the kids if they needed to potty they would just reply "no! don't stop! Just get us there fast!"

Here is Carys as we pulled out of the drive way. She was all ready to go!

Sawyer as we left home. He had on his "cool-man" shades and his juice box in hand.

Happy Faces...we made it!

Brooke and Carys after their late-night trip to the pool!

Carys getting ready for bed! She was SO excited it was hard to wind down, I think she finally fell asleep around 11:30pm

We are in the heart of Gulf Shores. This is the view from our balcony. We are on the 15th floor so we have a great view! It was a bit cloudy earlier, but now the sun is shining high!
Check back for more pics!
